Hi Everyone!
Please reply to this email. No need to write a bunch - just want to know that my emails are being received. Thank you. This also shows us that our efforts to reach out to you are being successful. You can pull the old Sauve and just reply: received.
Should you say more, please let me know if you would be interested in Zooming with me (insert joke about Who's Zoomin Who? here) - I would call this "office hours". We can wing what we feel like talking about if you're interested. Again, this is optional, plus you'll have to deal with my 5 chins via video call! Don't say I didn't warn you. You can turn your video off if you prefer so we just hear you...
Either way, let me know and write your preferred email address that I can send the Zoom meeting link to.
Thankfully, it's getting sunnier and warmer out. I hope you're getting some fresh air.
As always, I hope you're well and staying safe.
You may be hearing a lot from school or not enough... These messages are just to show you we care, we're thinking of you, and we miss you and our daily rituals together. (Even if maybe you're not missing the homework, I certainly wouldn't).
Of course you can keep tabs on English and non-English stuff at msauveenglish.com if you're bored. I'm experimenting with Instagram (OMG hell has frozen over) - it's a private group for school, but if you're interested it's the same handle as the website msauveenglish. A lot of the same stuff there, but you can post images, which you can't do on the blog... If I'm a big social media failure, well, it won't be the first time. Just trying to see what works to keep in touch with you.
This week there are recipes, and next week, I'll post a bunch of journalling or notebook type exercises for you, maybe like me, you're trying to find a place to park all this weird fear / anxiety and not let let it take over, or you're interested in chronicling this time in history, writing is a good place for all that, as well as for planning or dreaming about what comes next.
Stay in touch and let me know what you've been up to.
